R-C is a blog that was created in 2011 for the fandom to submit their opinions about the royals. It became super popular bc it allowed people to express their views anonymously.
Pretty quickly the blog became the Kate show with the majority of submissions being about her (positive). And then some of the confessions started to cross the line –

The kate fans started to send hate in at the blog for publishing any kate criticism. A lot of this had to do with the girl who ran the blog - britishroyalgoogler (Ashley). Ashley was known in the fandom for being best buds with trueroyals and royalmistress. She wasn’t an all out hater, but she did enjoy debating about kate’s underwear and posting upskirt pics

Ashley’s rep as someone who criticized kate made R-C even more disliked by mini midds.
As Ashley started fading from the fandom, the blog started to be run by admins Varya, Christy and Adrielle (idk who they are in the fandom?).
And then came the CONSTANT drama between Harryites and cambridge fans over confessions like this –

These kinda posts would be constantly reblogged and commented on and no matter if you’d blocked R-C, the dumb ass arguments would be all over the dash.
The admins constantly tried to remind people that they dont write the confessions and added ground rules

But they still get accused of posting confessions that were against their rules –

Eg casual slut shaming.
Afaik there are only 1-2 admins now. R-C is no doubt a popular blog, but also has had a large part of the fandom who cant deal with the bullshit it causes.

Another stroll down memory lane today bbs. This one’s about some Kate/Pippa fans who claimed to be in touch with Pippa. Rachel has been the most talked about blogger in the fandom's history. This post will  compile EVERYTHING. Starting with the masterpost on who she is and leading onto the receipts. The story of the student is one of the most iconic because of its impact on the fandom at the time. In April-May 2012, infamous fandom member Rachel was notorious for making claims about her connections with friends of the royals and would sometimes drop unproven information. Meanwhile over on the ohnotheydidnt live journal, someone who I'll call G learnt about Rachel and her claims to have inside information.So G decided to start anoning Rachel asking if she’d heard about Harry dating a student and planting random bits of information. This student was created by G. Rachel said she had heard about the student and went on to confirm the things that her anon was telling her on the regular.There are no receipts from those blogs because both Rachel and the Student deleted those blogs. But here's mrharrywales discussing some of the details. The story escalated, not helped by the fact Harry was spotted in Oxford, leading people to speculate he was there to see the student.
