Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are believed to be good friends, but it doesn't look like their fans are getting on quite so well

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are from very different backgrounds and led very different lives ahead of marrying into the royal family.

But they both play their role as duchess perfectly, and have won over loyal fans who are obsessed with their every move.


While the two women are believed to be good pals, and Kate is said to be supporting Meghan in her new role, it seems their followers aren't getting on as well.

According to a royal expert, many fans are clashing about who is the best and things have even taken a nasty turn on some occasions.


Victoria Arbiter, author of Queen Elizabeth II for Pocket Giants , told the Express : "It seems on social media that there are two very defined camps, there are the Cambridge fans and the Sussex fans and they don't seem to cross over terribly well.

"If Kate steps out and does something then all the Sussex fans start grumbling and vice versa, it's an extraordinary thing to see.


"When Kate went back to work last week the Meghan fans were criticising saying she’s only come back for an hour and a half, its not enough time, Meghan's doing more.



"They just like to pit these two women against each other which is a shame because I think both women have got so much to offer."

Victoria also points out the confrontation is even more upsetting as Kate, Meghan and their husbands commit a lot of their time to anti-bullying charities.

Prince Harry's friend Arthur Landon threatens to sue fandom member

In 2014 a blog called farthurlandon was created where it mocked Harry's friend Arthur Landon and accused him of all sorts of things like lying about charities and just being a douche. It also posted pictures from Arthur's social media. Arthur found the blog and threatened to expose their identity and got the lawyers involved. The story of the student is one of the most iconic because of its impact on the fandom at the time. In April-May 2012, infamous fandom member Rachel was notorious for making claims about her connections with friends of the royals and would sometimes drop unproven information. Meanwhile over on the ohnotheydidnt live journal, someone who I'll call G learnt about Rachel and her claims to have inside information.So G decided to start anoning Rachel asking if she’d heard about Harry dating a student and planting random bits of information. This student was created by G. Rachel said she had heard about the student and went on to confirm the things that her anon was telling her on the regular.There are no receipts from those blogs because both Rachel and the Student deleted those blogs.
