Prince Harry's friend Arthur Landon threatens to sue fandom member
In 2014 a blog called farthurlandon was created where it mocked Harry's friend Arthur Landon and accused him of all sorts of things like lying about charities and just being a douche. It also posted pictures from Arthur's social media. Arthur found the blog and threatened to expose their identity and got the lawyers involved.
Farthur naturally freaked the fuck out, deleting the blog and asking Arthur via a new blog called anopenlettertofarthurlandon, not to expose his/her identity. That blog was then deleted to and we've never heard from Farthur since. My guess is that they were an existing member of the fandom but I dont know their identity.

Does your privacy really matters on Tumblr?
On the 6th of November 2014, a British Celebrity by the name of Arthur Timothy Landon filed a motion for discovery (1) against Tumblr to reveal the identity of one of its bloggers. The Petitioner (Mr Landon) states the blogger in question ( farthurlandon) has been defaming him and used copyrighted materials on the blog in question.
While most individuals would have just contact Tumblr or the blogger in question and have the ( alleged) copyrighted materials removed…Mr Landon the Petitioner has made no averred moves to contact the author of the blog or Tumblr and supposedly went straight to his Attorneys.
I am a reader of this blog in question (2) and in my opinion the contents of the blog has no way defame Mr. Landon anyway, shape, or form. Mr. Landon is well celebrity (whether he seems himself as one or not) who in his motion describes himself as a writer/director. Mr. Landon is known to be friends with the British Princes William and Henry. Mr Landon was one of the individuals with the Prince Harry who went to Las Vegas and was caught in a nude scandal playing strip poker (3)(4)(5).
The Vegas scandal and the media article form the UK and other countries have been discuss of many platforms and Tumblr is just one. The blogger and her anonymous express their views and commeted on the articles. Expressing your views and stating your opinion of someone out in the public is not in my book defamation.
If Tumblr inc and its staff allows and gives Farthurs information out just because someone doesn’t like what another person and individuals think of them, then you is next? Am I next, are you next, is the kid down the street next?
I feel like there is plenty of bloggers that don’t even realized the seriousness of it all. If they take Farthur down then who is next. I want you all to please do me a favor and hash-tag and tag any post with #KeepTumblrPrivate, #SupportFarthur #No1Next to show Tumblr Inc. staff and yahoo that we as users and bloggers will stand together and show solidarity for our right to express ourselves and have our personal information kept private and confidential.

Prince Harry’s chum, multi-millionaire Arthur Landon, has resorted to legal action in the United States after being accused on a website of hating women and gays.
The 32-year-old, who joined Harry on his infamous 2012 trip to Las Vegas when the Prince was photographed naked, is seeking to compel the Yahoo-owned website Tumblr to reveal the identity of a blogger who referred to him as ‘Fartie’ and claimed his charitable activities were fraudulent.
Ampleforth-educated Landon is a film-maker who inherited more than £200 million on the death of his father, Brigadier Tim Landon, a key player in the 1970 coup that overthrew the then Sultan of Oman.
He hopes to sue the author of the blog, which was subtitled ‘The chronicles of a trust fund git and the suitcase seen around the world’, for defamation and copyright infringement.
The blogger has since deleted all of their content and replaced it with an ‘open letter’ to Landon begging him to drop the ‘Orwellian’ legal action.
‘We’re just little folks expressing our opinions,’ the writer claims.
‘We can’t afford fancy lawyers to fight your fancy lawyers.’
